~~When I wrote this, I kept going back to that place where I felt like all I had to do was hold on one more day. Life was in limbo between living and dying and I wanted to live. One step and one day at a time. My journey was pretty lonely because the people around me didn't understand and as with many in the Lyme community, I think they got tired of it. They tried to understand, but it was a lonely battle. And I lived like that until one day, I realized that I could feel again and I could see a little hope and light and I began to believe that I would recover. And then came the realization that there were so many just like me or worse. People who had suffered many years longer than me. I just don't want anyone to feel like they are ever alone or that their life is not worth living. It's a hard place to walk. Rebecca
